Over 20 Anglophones still being held in Kondengui after release of 55 detainees  -Issa Tchiroma says, reveals Biya’s order was not an infraction on the independence of the Judiciary

Not fewer than 20 Anglophne detainees are still being held at the Kondengui Maximum Prison, Yaounde, the Minister of Communication and Government Spokesman, Issa Tchiroma Bakary has said, adding that the decision by the Head of State Paul Biya to set 55 Anglophone detainees free in connection to the Anglophone crisis is not an infraction on the independence of the Judiciary by the Executive. He said the Head of State’s order was rather an application of the Legislative instruments governing the organization of justice in Cameroon.

Two fake certificates have been detected and 10 other rejected at the Ministry of Higher Education by the National Evaluation Commission for Training Domains Offered Abroad. Meeting in its 81st session September 28, 2016 in Yaoundé, the session presided over by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Prof. Ngomo Horace Manga, representing the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Jacques Fame Ndongo examined 290 files and found two wanting, all of them Baccalureat Certificates.

Road users across the national territory have heave a sigh of relief after the Minister of Finance H.E. Alamine Ousmane Mey announced last week that contrary to rumour peddling being propagated across the national territory, toll gate levy will not be increased.

Didactic materials worth FCFA 26 million have been donated to Government Technical High School (GTHS) Limbe by MAG Sarl, one of the road construction companies working  at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium.
